Sales and listings Statistics are attached as of September 15th. September, as typical, begins with back to school and end of summer fun taking followed by refocusing on real estate. This September is no different – albeit already far and above where September of 2012 was for units sold. With just over half a month to go, sales in September will continue the trend of significant gains over last year. Detached House units sold in Richmond are already above September of 2012. Total New Listings coming on market are tracking higher than September of last year, proving for more choice amongst the increase in demand. Summary for September so far:
Greater Vancouver Real Estate
1,089 Units Sold so far in September 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 42% compared to 28% for September 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 17,297 (19,103 this date last year)
Vancouver West Real Estate
232 Units Sold so far in September 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 40% compared to 29% for September 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 2,941 (3,511 this date last year)
Vancouver East Real Estate
119 Units Sold so far in September 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 40% compared to 30% for September 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 1,305 (1,458 this date last year)
North Vancouver Real Estate
68 Units Sold so far in September 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 30% compared to 20% for September 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 995 (1,066 this date last year)
West Vancouver Real Estate
40 Units Sold so far in September 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 31% compared to 22% for September 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 770 (751 this date last year)
Richmond Real Estate
144 Units Sold so far in September 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 43% compared to 28% for September 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 2,253 (2,663 this date last year)
